To make the most out of your candle, it is important to properly care for it by following the below steps:The first time you burn your candle, you should let it achieve a full melt pool, which will take approximately 3 hours. This will ensure an even burn all the way down.
Trim the wick 1/4" between each burn with a wick trimmer. If you do not have a wick trimmer, you can use your fingers to break off the black burnt part of the wick. This is very important to avoid smoking, sooting and overheating.
Remove any debris from the candle before lighting it.
Do not burn your candle for longer than 3-4 hours at a time. Never burn a candle when there is less than 1/4" at the base.
